I'm interested in getting the youth involved in politics. My parents went to the common sense meeting last night, and I would love to take part in organizing school awareness in local issues and state government.

I use to be a registered voter. No longer believe in either party. Formerly alternate to the Republican Convention. Do I need to register to help? Will be checking calander of events so I can attend meetings and investigate the game plan. I live in Sachse and note all five principals, agree in brief description.

I am little afraid of the tea party movement. I see all of the racist signs and hitler references. There is no place for this. Where is the diversity?
by Mike O  2010-02-28 16:12:13
Here are some of the people I'm trying to explain that I'm a racist, since I'm a Tea Party member:
- The Chinese-American I back for City Council.
- The African-Americans I back for GOP County Chair and for a judicial position.
- The hispanic-American I'll back for School Board.
- My Chinese wife
- My Ugandan daughter.

My teenage kids are looking for an explanation for the hateful literature displayed at the Tea party. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion, but as Christians we should be obligated to display more respectful tactics. the swastikas are embarressing...

Perusing through thousands of signs to find the few held by Le Rouche Democrats who show up- uninvited- to these things must have taken some time.
by David J  2010-03-07 11:25:19
So they should be ignored? Why won't it be addresed? So you are telling me that just because you support different ethnic candidates that it's OK to have the RACIST signs there?
by Robbie Mayes  2010-03-16 11:03:59
I am ready to get involved GOD BLESS AMERICA

Dear Fellow Patriot,
We have been frustrated in our attempts to reverse the descent of our government into socialism/totalitarianism. It appears as though our protests consistently fall on deaf ears. It is time to take the next step and formally petition our government, our right to which in guaranteed under the first amendment. This e-mail contains a formal copy of a list of grievances and a u-tube link. It is not comprehensive but if only a fraction of these concerns are addressed, it will be a beginning. I would like to see three things done with this list. First, to have it read at every April 15 TEA party. Second, that at those TEA parties, a copy is signed by the participants and sent to the office of Speaker Pelosi via private carrier (Fed Ex, UPS). Finally, it is my desire to have these grievances entered into the congressional record. This will take a very courageous congressperson.

I request your cooperation in the first two and that you forward this e-mail

Why can't any of the Tea Party members explain the RACIST signs and racial epitaphs that have become synonymous with this movement? Count me out...

Current economic policy has resulted in a $45 trillion national debt that is now 65% of GDP, growing to 90% of GDP by 2020 if left unchecked, which will lower the standard of living to levels Americans are not used to in this country. The democrat party claims to represent the little guy yet thay have signed into law $670 billion in tax increases that increase prices and decrease job growth for everyone. They are pruposing a gasoline and VAT tax which are regressive, punishing the poor the most. They except campaign funds from the companies they rail against such as the investment bank Goldman Sachs. Out-of-control deficit spending, an exploding national debt, ever increasing taxes, and an ever expanding federal government crowd out job growth, increase job loss, increase prices, and result in permanently high leves of unemployment as well as underemployment. This is why I encourage everyone to keep up the great work of voting for Reagan Conservatives, working your networks to encourag

I am excited about the citizens finally standing up. Before this was created, I sent some letters to our representatives and senators to question why we were never questioned about voting on bills when amendments were added and whatnot. They represent our vote... we did not put them in office to play their political games. This has to stop!!!

I play music in a group called Lost July from Austin TX and we are looking to get involved and volunteer our work. If you know of any places that we can come and show our support let us know. our music is at www.lostjuly.com. We are all supportive of this cause and want to give what we can.
by Christy  2010-05-11 18:29:45
There they go again with Super-TARP, the so-called wall street reform act S. 3217, trying to take over yet another industry. This bill ensures future bailouts, and creates yet another federal bureaucracy with unlimited authority over any bank without judicial review. It does nothing to address the mandates passed by congress that required banks to underwrite risky loans. This democrat congress has added amendments that will hurt oil and mining businesses that have nothing to do with real reform. This is yet another reason why we need to vote for and support Reagan constitutional conservative candidates here and in other states.

The Dallas paper says there is an event at a farm this Sunday at 1602 Parker road in St Paul, near Wylie from 7-10. Is that true, I see nothing at this site it stated to go to.
